Liraglutide the new medication approved to manage obesity

Liraglutide is a new medication approved for the management of obesity. It can help reduce weight by enhancing the way your body regulates appetite, it decreases the feeling of hunger while increasing the metabolism and the feeling of fullness. 

It is recommended for any obese patient with a BMI above 30Kg/m2 or BMI more than 27 Kg/m2 in the presence of weight-related morbidities such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and dyslipidemia. It is an injectable medication, via user-friendly medication, daily in the morning, Side effects are rare and manageable and include nausea, diarrhea, constipation that fades away as the treatment continues.
