Dr. Layal Nasser is the Chief Pharmacist at Bareen International Hospital.

She is licensed in the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists, and obtained her Pharm.D degree from the Lebanese American University, Lebanon with emphasis on Clinical Pharmacy.

Before joining Bareen Hospital, Dr. Layal worked as a Chief Pharmacist in Neurospinal Hospital, Dubai, UAE. Before that, she worked as Assistant Director/Clinical pharmacist at American Hospital Dubai, UAE, and as a clinical pharmacist at Clemenceau Medical Center, Lebanon. 

Dr. Layal's experience in USA, Lebanon and UAE was in both retail and hospital pharmacy which allowed her to start up both the in-patient and out-patient pharmacies at Bareen Hospital from scratch. 

She was trained and certified in aseptic technique preparation including total parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy. Dr. Layal has used her training in clinical pharmacy in St. Michael's Medical Center, New Jersey USA, and her work as a clinical pharmacist in both Lebanon and UAE to further expand and improve the medication management process at Bareen International Hospital and Fakih Medical Group to improve and ensure continuous patient care.

Dr. Layal is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP) and has participated and presented several research posters in the field of pharmacy, and has participated in multiple hospital medication use evaluations and medication management process development in preparation for Joint Commission Accreditation  and local authority inspection and licensure.
