Dr. Rita Tanios is the Specialist Clinical Pathologist and Laboratory Director at Bareen International Hospital with over 10 years of experience within the field.

Before joining Bareen, she worked as Clinical Pathologist and Laboratory Director at the same time at Laboratoire du Boulevard in Beirut, Lebanon from 2011 to 2016.

She was responsible for the supervision, monitoring, validation and interpretation of the results of laboratory tests (Biochemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Microbiology), as well as the application of the quality procedures in the laboratory and providing routine maintenance of departmental instruments and oversee maintenance and repairs performed by third parties.

Dr. Rita obtained her Residency in Laboratory Medicine (Clinical Pathology) from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon in 2008, she then completed her Masters in Hospital Management from Université Paris 7 - Denis Diderot in France in 2012 as well as her Masters of Sciences in Molecular Biology from Lebanese American University (LAU) in Lebanon.
