Mrs Nadia Rose Portelli Physiotherapist
Mrs Nadia Rose Portelli is a graduate from Malta University in Europe where she graduate with honors from a BSc in Physiotherapy in the year 2004. Following her graduation she worked as a physiotherapist at St James Hospital in Malta were she was recruited to attend the Andorra Small Nations games in 2005 as the female physiotherapist for the Maltese team. Her interest in sport physiotherapy didn’t stop there, she was the main physiotherapist for the Nadur youngsters Football team from the year 2005 to the year 2014.
Following her work with St James Nadia worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in St Lukes Hospital, Mater Dei Hospital and Gozo General Hospital all based in malta Europe for 11 years where she formed an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.
She is qualified in Western Acupuncture and specializes in manual therapy and exercise prescription.
Her main interests lie in musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation. Nadia prides herself with keeping herself up to date with all the latest techniques and her treatment are a combination of evidence based practice and her vast clinical experience.
She is currently in the process of getting her masters degree in Advancing physiotherapy practice from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
